Results of the first tests of the separation protocol for Cat. 3 residues

Last week the protocol for the separation of waste from Cat. 3 (community waste) was launched on 8 Iberia flights.

The results have been good, most of the wastes have been correctly deposited (recyclable part, non-recyclable part and paper-board), although some residue has been found in the non-corresponding compartment.

These tests have served to reveal flaws that will be analyzed in order to reinforce the message to the cabin crew. In addition, in the next few days we will interview the crew to examine with them the drawbacks detected in the application of this new protocol.
